Eight exempt goods for people with special needs from customs duties

Letter of His Excellency the Director General of Customs sweeping No. 238/63 / M and the date 15/04/1434 e summed as follows: Based on the Council of Ministers Resolution No. "4" and the date of 05/01/1434 AH judge to exempt eight goods for people with special needs from customs duties that have been approved on the exemption in the third meeting of the ninety-Committee on financial and economic cooperation of the cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Saudi customs has to apply for exemption from customs duties on these goods instead of the 5% fee applied by the former category, namely: -

1. Customs item No. 80 210 387: piston-powered cars are alternating internal spark ignition which does not exceed the capacity of its records (1000 Sm³) is specially designed to be led hands without the two men to use wheelchairs or people with paralysis of the two men together.

2. Customs item No. 80 220 387: piston-powered cars are alternating internal spark ignition where its records of more than (1000 cm ³ capacity) does not exceed (1500 Sm³) tailored to the driven-handed without the two men to use wheelchairs or people with paralysis of the two men together.

3. Customs item No. 80 230 387: piston-powered cars are alternating internal spark ignition where its records of more than (1500 Sm³ capacity) does not exceed (3000 Sm³) tailored to the driven-handed without the two men to use wheelchairs or people with paralysis of the two men together.

4. Customs item No. 70 240 387: piston-powered cars are alternating internal spark ignition where its records capacity exceeding (3000 cm ³) tailored to the driven-handed without the two men to use wheelchairs or people with paralysis of the two men together.

5. Customs item No. 20 001 287: Bicycle Bikes with disabilities and the elderly.

6. Clearance Item No 60 102 190: crutches (CRUTCHES), (except simple special sticks to people with disabilities of heading (02, 0.66).

7. Customs item No. 004 021: 90; hearing aids devices, with the exception of parts and supplies.

8. Customs item No. 20 902 190: Electronic devices for the blind.

Limited exemption from customs duties for these materials imported from outside the GCC countries to the following destinations: -

A relevant governmental bodies under the auspices of the disabled.

(B) Licensed under the auspices of associations with special needs purposes only Assembly.

(C) the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council of the holders of those cards with special needs and for personal use, according to the disability, that does not dispose of cars imported to any of this category, but after three years on the import, in the case disposed of prior to this date are met Customs Fees according to the state.
